Nick Massella is PBS NewsHour's senior director of brand strategy and communications where he leads the marketing and communications efforts for the NewsHour, manages social media partnerships, and serves as spokesperson.
Since joining the NewsHour in November 2014, Nick has managed its exclusive partnership to live stream special coverage of Inauguration Day 2017 on Twitter and social media and media relations for NewsHour's Democratic Primary Debate in partnership with Facebook. In addition, he has shared best practices at YoPro, TechCon and the PBS Annual Meeting.
Prior to joining the NewsHour, Nick was editor of Mediabistro's FishbowlDC, where he covered the media industry in Washington. He previously served clients at the Washington-based PR, marketing and events firm BrandlinkDC and spent several years in public relations at George Washington University and GW's Elliott School of International Affairs.
